The Mirror 14 Story

The idea for the 'Lost Classes' started with the Ghost Dinghy and grew into a 3 part serires that featured in Dinghy Sailing Magazine. Some time later, a seperate 2 part Series entitled, "Lost Classes, the catamarans" was featured, again in Dinghy Sailing Magazine.

Since then Bearfacemedia have been involved in trying to record details of some of the innovative dinghies that were developed in the Uk during the golden years of dinghy sailing, 1965-1985.

If YOU have an idea of what would make a good 'lost class' or know of a boat that could now be 'unique' then please let us know and we'll document it.

It is hoped that when there is sufficient detail in this section that the data will be passed on to the National Maritime Museum, Falmouth.
